On April 23, 2025, the "Green Wave" conference will take place in Tallinn, focusing on improving the energy efficiency of buildings. The event brings together experts and practitioners to discuss sustainable development in the construction sector.

The conference will be opened by Sigrid Harjo, board member of the Estonian Business and Innovation Agency (EIS), who emphasizes the importance of building renovation in increasing energy efficiency. Danish architect Ole Storjohann will present the Krulli Quarter project, highlighting the reuse of materials. One of the day’s highlights is the panel discussion “Speeding Up the Renovation Marathon,” featuring Jarek Kurnitski from Tallinn University of Technology, Annika Kadaja from Woodhouse Estonia, and Tõnu Tuppits from EIS. The conversation will focus on how to accelerate renovation efforts and increase their impact. In the afternoon, workshops will explore themes such as the future of living environments and the development of green industry. The day will conclude with media expert Raul Rebane’s talk on adapting to change and a PolitikaGuru panel debate on the direction of the green transition.
