ARIB is creating a mobile application that will bring information about rural life directly to your phone. Until December 1, anyone can suggest a suitable name for the new application and participate in the prize draw.

ARIB is developing an app that will initially enable the movement of soil monitoring data between the client and ARIB. In the future, this application will be a central tool for everyone who comes into contact with rural support and information exchange. Now, everyone interested has the opportunity to contribute to the development of this emerging digital tool by suggesting a suitable name for the app. To participate, you must fill out the competition form.

The naming competition will last until December 1, and all participants will participate in the raffle for a practical backpack. The five best names will be selected by the ARIB jury, and a public vote will be held in December, the winner of which will receive a cooking evening at the Estonian Agricultural Museum with four friends as a prize.

According to ARIB, the new mobile application is part of a broader goal to make communication with customers faster and more convenient. Satellite data collected through soil monitoring allows, for example, to detect problems in fields early and prevent them. The new service should contribute to more precise targeting of subsidies and simplify control processes.

ARIB Development Department Head Triin Valls has said that the new app is expected to reduce bureaucracy and provide users with more understandable information that is at hand exactly when it is needed. Valls emphasizes that the app does not replace ARIB's existing systems, but complements them.

If you have a great, catchy name idea that connects with rural life, then let us know - your proposed name could become part of Estonia's digital rural life.
