Support for the Sustainable Nuclear Energy Technology Platform to address cross-sectoral challenges and non-power applications of ionising radiation

This grant supports the structuring of the Sustainable Nuclear Energy Technology Platform (SNETP) activities and consolidation of networks in nuclear technology, with an emphasis on cross-cutting and non-power applications of ionising radiation. The action aims to foster collaboration across energy sectors, integrate research and innovation in nuclear safety, develop applications for power and non-power uses (such as health, industrial, and space), and facilitate cooperation among stakeholders throughout the EU. Activities include studies, data collection, technology roadmaps, implementation plans, and dissemination, focusing on maximizing the societal benefits of nuclear and radiation technologies. The indicative project duration is three years.

Grant application conditions

Admissibility Conditions	Proposal page limit: 28 pages for CSA using lump sum. Layout as described in Part B of the Application Form. Detailed budget table required.
Eligible Countries	Eligibility is defined in the General Annexes of the Euratom Work Programme 2026-2027 and the current list of countries participating in Horizon Europe.

Financial and Operational Capacity	Applicants must demonstrate financial and operational capacity, as described in the General Annexes, section C.
Legal and Financial Set-up	Eligible costs will take the form of a lump sum as defined in the Horizon Europe and Euratom Programmes. SNETP’s secretariat and other running costs are not eligible for funding under this action.
Project Duration	Indicative duration is three years.
Financial and Sustainability Plan	Proposal should include a plan for continuing activities beyond the duration of the funded action.
