Organisation of high-quality master or post-graduate courses in conference interpreting 2026-2027

The grant aims to ensure the availability of a sufficient pool of highly qualified conference interpreters by supporting and strengthening interpreter training programmes through professional and financial assistance. It fosters the training of new generations of qualified conference interpreters who may be recruited by EU institutions, especially the European Parliament, as officials or as accredited agents. The programme enhances linguistic diversity and quality in conference interpretation education among EU, candidate countries, and principal partner countries, promotes the establishment of postgraduate centres of excellence, regional and international cooperation among universities, and the integration of modern information and communication technologies in interpreter training.
