The European Advanced Digital Skills Competitions aim to engage young Europeans in cutting-edge digital technologies through six challenge-based competitions. These competitions, coordinated by leading research institutes and industry partners, seek to foster creativity, project-based research, and training, while connecting participants to a broader community of research organizations and industry players. Each competition will address a significant societal or industrial challenge in the digital domain, serving to develop participants' skills, raise awareness of teamwork and applied research, and promote innovation in digital technologies. The competitions are aligned with Sectoral digital skills academies (Quantum, GenAI, Chips, Virtual Worlds), the Destination Earth initiative, and an additional area defined by the consortium.
