Aquaculture Investment Support (New Production Capacity) 2025

The purpose of the support is to contribute to the growth of aquaculture production volume, mitigate environmental impacts, promote the use of renewable energy and digitalization in the aquaculture sector, and increase the resilience of aquaculture entrepreneurs to climate change.

Max funding	The maximum support per applicant is 2,000,000 euros.
Budget	5,600,000 euros.
Coverage	Up to 50% of eligible costs for companies. Up to 75% of eligible costs for aquaculture sector producer organizations.

Grant application conditions

Type of applicant	Aquaculture entrepreneur or aquaculture sector producer organization that holds a valid operating license and is registered in the PRIA register.
Geographical restriction	Republic of Estonia.
Implementation period	The project must be implemented within two years of the funding decision.
Project objective	The project must contribute to the growth of aquaculture volume, reduction of environmental impacts, or adoption of renewable energy.
Monitoring period	The investment must be maintained and used purposefully for at least 5 years after the final payment.
