Grant application conditions

Applicant Type	State institutions, local governments, non-profit organizations, and private companies
Geographic Restriction	Estonian regions identified as flood risk areas, including Pärnu, Sindi, Võiste, Häädemeeste, Virtsu, Kuressaare and Nasva, Kärdla, Haapsalu, Tallinn (Haabersti, Põhja-Tallinn, Kesklinn, and Pirita), Kiisa and Maidla, Maardu, Raasiku, Paide, Tartu, Aardlapalu, and Võru
Supported Activities	Construction or removal of protective dikes or embankments. Reconstruction of existing protective structures. Reconstruction of drainage ditches in risk areas. Restoration of water regimes in drained areas. Rehabilitation of water bodies (e.g., removal of sediments, vegetation, and flow obstacles). Preservation and restoration of natural floodplains. Restoration of river meanders. Other construction works necessary for the protection of water supply, sewage, and electrical nodes.
Non-Eligible Activities	Construction of infiltration ditches, ponds, wells, fields, buffer zones, and artificial wetlands for water retention and infiltration. Separation of combined sewer systems into separate systems. Construction of separate sewer systems. Elimination or rehabilitation of combined sewer systems. Restoration of roads and surface coverings not related to the aforementioned works.
